Pune: The Robotex India National Championship 2025, one of India’s largest technology competitions in robotics, artificial intelligence, and STEM education, has begun with a grand opening at the World Peace Dome, MIT-ADT University, Pune.
The Robotex India National Championship 2025 witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 7,000 students and 500+ robots, making this year’s edition historic.
Inclusive Participation at Robotex India National Championship 2025
This year’s competition stood out for its inclusivity, with students from government schools, private institutions, and marginalized communities joining the event. Notably, more than 50% of participants hailed from rural and tribal areas, providing an equitable platform for STEM and robotics education.

A special video presentation captured the journey of Robotex India 2024, following which Prof Sunita Karad, Executive Director of MIT-ADT University, formally inaugurated the championship. Dr Shantipal Ohol delivered the vote of thanks.
